INDIANA, Pa. -- Quota International of Indiana, Pa. Inc. presented earplugs to adults and children at the Indiana County Fair’s tractor and truck pull events on Sept. 1 and 2.
The free earplugs are designed to provide hearing protection for spectators at loud events that could damage hearing. One of Quota International’s mission is to provide services to deaf and hard of hearing individuals, as well as to provide education about speech and hearing issues. As part of this initiative, Quotarians also presented educational bookmarks about hearing protection to children attending the fair events along with the earplugs.
Quota International of Indiana, Pa. Inc. continues to work with students in Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s speech and hearing program to do educational programs like “Save Your Buds” (hearing buds) for children.
Quotarians are preparing for the Sept. 8 professional development seminar, “How to Connect to Customers and Co-Workers Not Like You.” A limited number of tickets are available for the event, planned for the Indiana Country Club.
